Baking Cookies.

I have always loved baking. But when one of my favourite Youtubers Tanya Burr made a video on her making these cookies I was sold.

They are so easy to make and they take no time at all - which makes me very happy. The only downside to making these cookies is that you have to wait 30 minutes before you can eat them, other wise, when you go to pick them up the cookies will disintegrate before you.

All you need for these cookies are:

  • 300g Caster Sugar
  • 200g Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 275g Self-Raising Flour
  • 75g Coca Powder
  • Milk Chocolate
  • White Chocolate
You might also need to have a dash of milk, but that is only if you think that the mixture is too dry.

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 190 degrees C.
  2. Mix together the sugar and the butter, until then are nice and fluffy and creamy.
  3. Add in the egg, make sure that it is fully mixed in.
  4. Add the flour, gradually, otherwise when you begin to mix it in, it will be really difficult and it will most probably go everywhere.
  5. Add in the coca powder and mix that in until it is fully combined.
  6. If at this point you think that your mixture is too dry and it is not coming together, than you can add a little bit of the milk now - but remember you can add, but your can't take away!!
  7. Then add in as much milk and white chocolate as you like.
  8. Line your baking trays with greaseproof paper - make sure that the sides of the paper are folded down, otherwise they will catch fire. Which is what I learnt when making this video.
  9. Create small balls with the dough - this mixture can make about 12 cookies, depending on how big you want your cookies to be.
  10. Then put your trays into the oven and cook for 10 minutes only!
  11. Once you have taken your cookies out of the oven they will think that they are not cooked enough, but trust me they will be.
  12. Leave them for 30 minutes and then they are done.
These cookies are the most moreish cookies I have ever had. They are almost like a brownie cookie with rivers of milk and white chocolate running through them.

Enjoying making these cookies and sharing them with your friends and family.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and that it made you smile - please comment down below what you would like to see from me next - and I'll see you in my next one.

I'm back!!!

Long time no see!

It has been a while since I last posted on my Blog and I am sorry for that. I will admit that I have been putting my YouTube channel and Instagram before my Blog. I think that might be because it was newer and I was having more ideas for it, which ultimately made my Blog flop a bit.

But I am back and I am coming up with a schedule that should allow me to work my two paying jobs and make YouTube videos and continue writing my blog 😊

I have got a lot more ideas for future Blog posts and hopefully you will like them. But if you have any ideas of things you would like me to write about then please let me know, and be sure to follow my Blog as there will be a lot more content for you to read - and hopefully enjoy!

Thank you for being patient with me!

I hope that this post made you smile and I will see you in my next one!

January Favourites

Hello everyone!!

It has been a while since I wrote a blog post, but I have decided that it is about time i write my January Favourites and let you all know what little old me has been loving this month. I do have a YouTube video so you can go over there and watch it if you prefer.

I have been liking beauty the most is seems as I have a few that I have been loving, including:

  • Soap and Glory 'Archery' - this is amazing for doing your brows, as it makes them look really natural and it is incredibly easy to use. Which is a bonus!!
  • Collection Lasting Perfection - I know that everyone uses this, but it honestly is really good for highlighting under your eyes and any blemishes you may have.
  • Maybelline 'The Colossal Go Extreme' - this makes your lashes full and really black, as well as not making them too clumpy to the stage where you don't even know that they're lashes anymore.

I have also been loving my 'Scarlett's SuperSlim Me Plan' DVD, it has really been helping me tone up and lose some weight.

My favourite shoes have been my Adidas 'Gazelle' trainers, they are the most comfortable shoes I have been wearing at the moment and they really support your foot all over, including the arch of your foot.

The last thing that I am going to mention in this post is my favourite perfume at the moment, this would have to be the Marc Jacobs 'Dot' perfume. It is really fresh and light while wearing it.

That has to be all of my favourites for this month. I hope that you have enjoyed this post and it has made you smile!

I will see you all in my next one!

Hello! Goodbye!

Wow!!

First I just want to say what a pleasure it has been writing for you all during 2016! I cannot believe how quickly this year has gone!

So much has happened to me in this year:

  • I graduated University.
  • I, finally, got the confidence to start my Blog.
  • I started my YouTube channel - through getting the confidence with my Blog.
  • I got a Tweet from Liz Earle because of my blogpost! Still overwhelmed by the fact that they read it and thought about tweeting me!!

So from those few things you can see that I have had a jam-packed year. There has been highs and lows and I honestly cannot wait to see what will come with the New Year.

Resolutions:

  1. Eat healthier.
  2. Lose weight.
  3. Make at least one person smile/laugh a day (ongoing resolution).
  4. Say 'Yes!' to more opportunities.
  5. Carry on with my Youtube channel.
  6. Carry on with my Blog.
  7. Go to Australia.
  8. Go to South Africa.
I do normally call my resolutions my goals - because I believe that if they are goals then you are more likely to accomplish them. And as my brother says "Chasing Dreams, Smashing Goals" I truly believe that 2017 will be the year that I conquer my goals that I have had for years. I hope that you are all having a wonderful 2017 and that you all smash your goals and have an amazing year!

I hope that this blog post has made you smile and you enjoyed reading it!

Until next time.

Bonfire Night!

One of my favourite times of the year has finally arrived!

Bonfire has to be one of the most amazing times of the year - in my opinion, after Christmas - I just love all of the fireworks in the sky and the sparklers are always lots of fun. I will say though that the only thing I am not a fan of would have to be loud noises that come with the fireworks, but they make up for the amazing colours being created in the sky.

I hope that you had a wonderful night and that you were all safe! Yes Bonfire Night is great and all of the fireworks are amazing to look at, but you still have to be careful and be aware of your surroundings.

There is nothing like lightening a sparkler and then making different shapes with them! To me they are the best part of Bonfire Night and I will always buy a few packs of them and stand there for ages just writing in the air and drawing different shapes with them!

Again, I hope that you all had a wonderful day and that you are ready for the next festive day!! Christmas is almost upon us and I cannot wait for it to be here.

I also hope that for those of you who are in America enjoy Thanksgiving too!

I hope that you enjoyed this post and are having/had a great day.

Review of Elegant Touch nails.

Elegant Touch is an affordable brand that are sold in places like Superdrug and even On my way! boots I think. That make some really cool looking stick on nails: from the classic French manicure, to seasonal designs (I have some really amazing ones that I am going to be whipping out closer to Christmas!

Applications
Elegant Touch nails are really easy to apply. All you have to do is match up your nail size with the nails that they provide.
Once that task is complete you take the glue - that they also provide - and then coat your nail with, a thin amount, of the glue. Pushing the nail onto your nail for a minute, I have found, to be the most effective method. Once you have done all of your nails then, to me, it is best to spend a further minute pushing all of the nails onto your nails; just to make sure that they are stuck onto your actual nails.

Thoughts on product
I think that Elegant Touch nails are a really good product as the choice of design is huge, the ones that I have been loving are:

I have also been really looking forward to when I can wear the Christmas ones that they have as well, the ones that I have I got from Boots:

Final thoughts
My final thoughts on the Elegant Touch nails are that they are really good at staying on for a long time and when you want to take them off they can come off really easily. I have had the odd time when I really struggles to take them off. The only complaint that I have for these nails are that I am not a fan of the glue that stays on your nails.
Although it is only a little bit and it comes off after a while - and I am sure that most stick on nails do this as well.

So overall no complaints from this customer.

I hope that you have enjoyed this blogpost and are having/have had a great day!!
